7. Byron Cowart – 0.9987
A talented class of 2015 nearly saw three players from the state crack the top 10 of this list. With Derwin James slotting in behind him, Florida was well-represented as the Armwood star came in as the second overall defender his senior season. Cowart racked up 28 sacks and 47 tackles for loss in his prep career leading to an opportunity at Auburn. He would eventually transfer to Hillsborough Community College before landing at Maryland in 2018. Cowart was taken in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft and currently plays for the Houston Texans.
