3. Ricky Bowling, South Laurel (2005-08)
Over four years as the Cardinals鈥� starting quarterback, Bowling had a record-setting career. Bowling threw for 12,575 yards and 133 touchdowns while finishing as the runner-up for the state鈥檚 Mr. Football award in 2008.聽
Following his successful run at South Laurel, Bowling joined the NAIA program at Lindsey Wilson College. Bowling threw for the first touchdown in program history as a freshman and finished his first and only season at the school with 1,630 yards and 15 touchdowns. Bowling is now the head coach at Great Crossing High School.聽
