4. Kennon Fontenot
With 10,673 passing yards, the Barbe High School star ended his prep career as one of just five players in state history to hit the 10,000 mark. From 2010-13, Fontenot continued the Buccaneers鈥� yearly run as contenders in the state tournament with a runner-up finish in the 2012 5A state title game. Following impressive campaigns like his junior year where he topped 4,200 yards and 47 touchdowns, the Barbe star would eventually move on to play baseball at the next level, suiting up for the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.
