9. Ryan Perriloux
Perriloux had one of the most decorated prep careers in state history following his dual-threat resume at East St. John High School. The Wildcats’ star quarterback totaled over 12,000 yards of total offense from 2003-05, with 9,025 yards coming through the air and another 3,680 coming on the ground. With 155 total touchdowns, Perriloux became a household name nationwide, slotting in as the No. 6 player in the Class of 2005, following his selection as Louisiana’s Mr. Football and the state’s Gatorade Player of the Year. After a two-year stint at LSU, Perriloux transferred to Jacksonville State University before making the leap to the NFL.
