7. Sam Metcalf
The Farmersville quarterback showed up when it mattered most during his prep career, helping the Aztecs to the first section title in school history behind a 372-yard, five touchdown performance against Strathmore. In four years, Metcalf totaled 11,913 yards through the air as he finished with 42 passing touchdowns in his final high school season. Metcalf would go on to play at the next level with Fresno City College.
