5 most dominant pitcher outings in NCAA Tournament history

1. Jeff Weaver, Fresno State vs. Texas A&M (1997)

In the first round of the NCAA Tournament, Weaver completely dominated Texas A&M. Weaver pitched a complete game and struck out 21 Aggies as he led Fresno State to a 2-1 win. The Bulldogs’ ace threw 137 pitches and walked just two batters. Weaver would go on to play in the MLB for 11 years and still holds NCAA as well as Fresno State baseball records.
