10 most impactful college players to withdraw from NBA draft
6. Terrence Shannon Jr., F, Illinois
A first-team All-Big Ten selection a year ago, Shannon Jr. returns to Champaign with a lot of hype and high expectations. Last season, Shannon Jr. led the Illini with 17.2 points per game, good for seventh in the Big Ten, while also averaging 4.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists.
With Shannon Jr. and fellow NBA draft withdrawal Coleman Hawkins returning to Illinois, the Illini could once again make a push for the NCAA Tournament. Given one more season in Brad Underwood鈥檚 system, Shannon Jr. could build on his performance from a year ago to become one of the top players in the entire country.
