Among a number of great pitching performances in the circle over the weekend, Gotshall鈥檚 gem against Northern Kentucky stood out. In the Lady Vols first game of the tournament, the senior right-hander threw five no-hit innings while striking out nine and walking just two as Tennessee went on to win 12-0.
Gotshall鈥檚 no-hitter marked the second of the season and the fourth of her career. While it wasn鈥檛 the top pitching performance of the weekend, Gottshall certainly got the attention of opponents as the Lady Vols aim to advance to the WCWS.
