In their quest for a three-peat, the Sooners‘ offense showed up in a major way. During its three wins, Oklahoma outscored its opponents 38-3 in three dominant wins, none of which made it beyond the sixth inning.
While any of these performances could be deserving of attention, none was more impressive than the team鈥檚 regional championship victory over Cal when the team tied the NCAA tournament record with six home runs, all of which came in the first three innings.聽
