Yorba Linda, El Dorado and Esperanza athletes sign letters of intent
YORBA LINDA, Calif. — National Signing Day is an exciting and important time in the college recruiting calendar. It’s the first day student-athletes can officially sign a National Letter of Intent (NLI) to commit to an NCAA DI or DII school. Prospective student-athletes enrolling in a four-year institution for the first time can sign an NLI. Many students who are still weighing decisions choose to sign a little later and have until April 1st (DI) and August 1st (DII). Once signed, it is a binding contract, listing athletic aid, between the student and the college for one year.
Students in the PYLUSD each had signing days on their individual campuses and were celebrated by their peers, coaches, parents and staff. Congratulations to each of the students featured here as they prepare to continue their love of sport at their future academic homes.
