5. Cal State Fullerton
As a recruit in the Class of 2019, Rodman did not receive much attention from D-I programs, earning only a two-star rating from . However, the self-described 鈥渓ate bloomer鈥 did receive an offer from Cal State Fullerton alongside his offer from WSU.
The Titans could still be appealing to Rodman as it would offer some unique opportunities. First, it is located near Rodman鈥檚 hometown of Newport Beach, California as it is only 25 miles from the city. Not only would it give Rodman a chance to return home, but it would also provide him the opportunity for a starring role as he would likely become one of the top players in the program once he joined the team.
But, this may not be what Rodman wants to do with his final college basketball season as it would be a step back in terms of competition from the Power 5 Pac-12 to the Group of 5 Big West. Though the connections are there, Rodman may have more intriguing opportunities elsewhere.
