6. Nicole May, Oklahoma
A run to the Sooners鈥� 11th straight regular-season Big 12 title has come behind the work of Oklahoma鈥檚 dynamic pitching staff. The trio of May, Storako, and Bahl have combined to pitch over 90 percent of the team鈥檚 total innings and have gone 43-1 on the year. The junior pitcher has been arguably the most impressive of the group, allowing just seven total runs in 81.1 innings pitched. May has found success in all three years with the Sooners but 2023 has come with an even more impressive showing. With an improved ability to get swings-and-misses, May has topped over 100 strikeouts for the first time in her collegiate career, while still keeping her walks low. Even with stars throughout the Sooners鈥� roster, it鈥檚 been tough to miss what May has accomplished so far.
