The Hawkeyes are trying to capitalize on their national championship window with superstar Caitlin Clark and nabbing Gustin from the transfer portal would help in that regard. Iowa lost seniors Monika Czinano and McKenna Warlock (the team鈥檚 second and third-leading rebounders this past season) to graduation which means the Hawkeyes鈥� frontcourt is in need of reinforcements. Gustin鈥檚 ability to dominate the boards and create second-chance opportunities makes her an ideal pair with Clark. Iowa could find itself right back in the national championship game next season with the addition of Gustin and feel even better about its chances of winning it all this time around.
