A native of Dallas, White could return to his home state by joining the Aggies. When he was being recruited out of Prolific Prep, White received an offer from Texas A&M.
The Aggies could use a player of White’s skillset as well. Texas A&M guard and third-leading scorer Dexter Dennis is graduating, leaving a big hole of production in the starting rotation. Add to that the Aggies are set to lose three depth pieces at guard and the position needs some bodies. While A&M did get a commitment from UIC transfer Jace Carter, White would add another talented player who could push for playing time given his Power 5 experience.

This is huge. The 6-foot-7 guard was one of the best freshmen in the Pac-12 this season, averaging 9.0 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. He has three years of eligibility remaining.
