Top 10 biggest Detroit Lions NFL draft busts of all time
10. David Lewis, TE, California (1984, No. 20 overall)
Lewis was one of many first-round misses in team history. The 6-foot-3 tight end from Cal lasted only four NFL seasons with the Lions. He logged a career total of 731 yards receiving. It’s worth noting Lewis got drafted ahead of pro bowl wide receiver Louis Lipps and star quarterback Boomer Esiason.
Detroit Lions love their 1st Round Tight Ends, David Lewis 84 – Brandon Pettigrew 09 – Eric Ebron 14 – and TJ Hockenson 19 and now may hire a Tight End coach as Head Coach of the Lions. 馃槼
