Top 10 biggest Detroit Lions NFL draft busts of all time
2. Aaron Gibson, OT, Wisconsin (1999, No. 27 overall)
The 6-foot-6, 375-pounder from Wisconsin won consensus All-American distinction as a senior. Lions’ brass saw him as a tackle of the future. A series of shoulder injuries set him back. Gibson saw action in a mere 16 games with the Lions.
Happy 45th bday Aaron Gibson! An offensive tackle, he's listed at 6'6" 375. Pretty sure he was up to 400 at one point during career. A 1st round pick of Lions, hurt his shoulder & missed rookie season. Started 10 games in 2000, then was waived part way through 2001.
