5 standouts from the Tennessee Volunteers’ spring game
2. Nico Iamaleava, QB
The headliner of the team’s incoming class, Iamaleava showcased his elite ability and flashed the potential many are waiting on. The No. 2 quarterback in the Class of 2023 will most likely backup starter Joe Milton for the upcoming year but expectations will continue to be sky high following his impressive play. The 6-foot-6 quarterback was 8-of-16 passing for 112 yards, and delivered many impressive strikes that showed his ability and arm talent outside of the pocket. Early indicators gave Volunteer fans just what they were looking for in the spring game as Iamaleava continues to be a beacon of hope for the future.
