Matthew Cleveland enters transfer portal; Top 5 landing spots

One of the most active teams from the transfer window a season before has been relatively quiet early on. Brad Underwood and his staff locked down top targets Terrance Shannon and Matthew Mayer just a year ago and could use some extra support across their roster as they work towards the upcoming year. While Cleveland has the opportunity to have a Shannon-type jump to whichever new team he lands with, adding another rising guard might not be the worst idea for the Illini coaching staff. The addition of consistent scoring options will be one of the team鈥檚 goals this offseason as they look to add to the unit that will likely be down Shannon after his NBA draft . Cleveland offers another threat at the guard and wing position that would give the team a much needed bump in 3-point shooting.
