10 most recognizable names on USFL opening game rosters
3. Adrian Martinez, QB, New Jersey Generals
The New Jersey Generals drafted Martinez in the 2023 USFL Draft. Martinez spent four seasons with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, throwing for 8,491 yards and 45 touchdowns while also rushing for another 2,301 yards and 31 touchdowns. After his time in Nebraska, Martinez transferred to Kansas State where he threw for 1,261 yards and ran for 627 yards. However, injuries cut his time behind center for the Wildcats short. The dual-threat quarterback will now take his talents to New Jersey where he should be a star with the Generals.
Adrian Martinez owns the state of Oklahoma now. It is his.
