Hailey Van Lith enters transfer portal; Top 5 landing spots

The Huskies were one of seven schools on Van Lith鈥檚 list before she chose Louisville which means there is some interest in Geno Auriemma and Storrs, Connecticut. After an uncharacteristically early exit from the NCAA women鈥檚 tournament in March (Sweet 16 loss to Ohio State), UConn and Auriemma should do everything they can this offseason to return to glory. Adding Van Lith would be a good start and her pairing with star guard Paige Bueckers should give opponents nightmares. The Huskies need postseason performers and Van Lith is just that. In 13 career NCAA Tournament games, she鈥檚 averaging 18.1 points and has scored 20 or more points in eight of the last nine NCAA Tournament games she鈥檚 played in.
