El Ellis enters transfer portal; 5 possible landing spots

Though this may seem like a surprise, don鈥檛 be shocked by this program鈥檚 inclusion. The Demons announced the hiring of Rick Cabrera as the team鈥檚 newest head coach. Prior to his hiring, Cabrera was the head coach for Tallahassee Community College where he coached Ellis at the junior college level.
This connection would obviously pay major dividends for Northwestern State if it is able to land Ellis. The biggest issue of this possible landing spot would be if the point guard would be willing to take his game to a perceived lower level of competition. If he doesn鈥檛 care about landing at the biggest programs, Ellis could become a superstar for the Demons under his former head coach.
