Villanova joins the list for their 2016 run to the championship. In their streak, the Wildcats defeated UNC-Asheville, Iowa, Miami, Kansas, Oklahoma and North Carolina by an average of 19 points.
While the Wildcats had a number of large victories, nothing compares to their 44-point shellacking of Oklahoma in their 95-51 Final Four victory. However, the tournament was no cakewalk for Villanova as they also had their fair share of challenges including their three-point victory over North Carolina in the championship game which they won on the final shot of the game.
