1. Alex Kranzler, RHP, Northern Valley Regional/Old Tappan聽
No one around New Jersey dominated on the mound quite like Kranzler did in his perfect junior campaign. Behind an 11-0 record and 115 strikeouts, the 6-foot-3, 212-pound ace helped guide Old Tappan to a 26-5 record and just the program鈥檚 second-ever Bergen County Tournament championship. With an improved fastball and solid offspeed offerings, Kranzler has taken his pitch mix up a notch since first arriving to the Golden Knights program. But, his work as a pitcher can鈥檛 overshadow just how impressive he was at the plate. The Old Tappan center fielder totaled 36 hits and three home runs in 2022 and also led the Golden Knights with 26 RBIs. With a nearly untouchable resume from his junior season, Kranzler has set the bar pretty high for his final year.
