Ace Baldwin enters transfer portal; 5 possible landing spots

West Virginia and Bob Huggins are currently going after former Arizona point guard Kerr Kriisa in the transfer portal but that doesn鈥檛 mean they shouldn’t look at Baldwin. Baldwin would be a perfect fit for West Virginia and the way Huggins likes his point guards to play. To start off with, Baldwin is a true point guard. The last two years, off-ball guard Kedrian Johnson has been playing point guard. Johnson was great at the position and the team’s best defender but Baldwin could certainly step into the role. His defensive ability alone makes him perfect for Huggins and Baldwin would thrive in the West Virginia system. The Mountaineers are losing their best defender in Johnson and best scorer in Erik Stevenson so getting Baldwin would be a huge step in replacing both players’ production.
