1. Martin Brodeur, G (1991-2015)
The Devils used the No. 20 overall pick in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft on Brodeur. Little did the team know he would become arguably the best goaltender the NHL has ever seen. He helped the team win three Stanley Cups and captured four Vezina Trophies, a yearly award given to the best goaltender in the NHL.
He also won 688 games, the most by any netminder in NHL history. For 22 seasons, he played with the Devils, and he also did something no other goalie has done: recorded three goals.听
