Honorable mention
Gabe Kalscheur, G, Iowa StateÂ
Kalscheur averaged 12.9 points helping Iowa State to a 19-13 overall record and a No. 6 seed in March Madness. They will face the winner of Mississippi State and Pittsburgh and look for Kalscheur to be one of the main catalysts for the Cyclones’ offense.Â
Gabe Kalscheur () scored a team high 24 points to lead Iowa State in their 78-72 win over #7 Baylor.
The Senior is averaging 12.7 points and 2.4 rebounds on the season.

Jaren Holmes, G, Iowa State
Holmes is the leading scorer for Iowa State after averaging 13.9 points this season. He’s proved to be streaky after only shooting 39.1% from the field, but if he can find a rhythm, Holmes can form a dangerous duo alongside Kalscheur.Â

Marques Warrick, G, Northern KentuckyÂ
The Norse have a challenging task going up against No. 1-seeded Houston, but Warrick is flying under the radar as one of the region’s top players, averaging 19.1 points, 2.7 assists, and 2.4 rebounds. Houston will have to shut him down, or they could be the second No. 1 seed in NCAA Tournament history to lose in the Round of 64.
