A move from Kentucky to Providence has made a world of difference for the second-year forward. After playing sparingly throughout last season, Hopkins has become the engine behind the Friars鈥� 2022-23 campaign due to a major bump in minutes as a sophomore. Now leading the team in the minutes per game, Hopkins is averaging 16.1 points during Providence鈥檚 21-11 season and has shined playing a versatile role on offense. The former Wildcats freshman will get a chance at redemption in this year鈥檚 tournament with his Friars鈥� squad set to play Kentucky in the first round.
