Most men鈥檚 basketball March Madness bids without NCAA title
32 – Kansas State
Kansas State has been a part of March Madness 32 times since its first appearance in 1948. While the team has made the field an impressive amount, they have only ever made the championship game once in 1951, losing to Kentucky 68-58.
Though the Wildcats are without a national title, they have made it deep into the tournament on many occasions, going to the Elite Eight a whopping 13 times in their history. Unfortunately, this early success hasn鈥檛 often translated to a Final Four appearance as the team has only ever made the round four times, the last time being in 1964. Ranked as a three seed this year, Kansas State has a good chance to improve on its number of Elite Eight appearances and could even find itself in the Final Four or beyond.
