Cherokee boys basketball finishes second in Class 7A State Championship
MACON, Ga. — Cherokee Warriors Men’s Basketball advanced to the Class 7A State Championship for the first time since 1982. The team, along with a significant fan base, traveled to Macon, Georgia, on Saturday, March 11, 2023. Ultimately the Warriors finished as state runner-ups in a game that ended with a final score of 78-58 resulting in a loss to Wheeler High School.
