The Longhorns enter the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive year as a top-five seed. With senior Marcus Carr leading the way, the Longhorns will be gunning for a potential matchup against Houston in the Elite Eight and avenge last year’s Round of 64 loss to Abilene Christian. It will likely happen because No. 2 seeds are 138-10 vs. No. 15 seeds, and No. 15 seeds have never beaten a No. 2 seed in three consecutive tournaments.
The Raiders are the best 3-point shooting team in the nation but have a tough matchup against a motivated Texas team. Senior players Tucker Richardson and Keegan Records will lead the charge as Colgate aims to be the 11th team to hand a No. 2 seed a loss in the Round of 64.
