McGonigle is committed to Auburn, but it wouldn鈥檛 be a surprise if the majors came calling before he ends up there. He impressed during the summer with the consistency with which he could hit and scouts contend that he might be one of the purest hitters in the class.
McGonigle also grades out at the top of the Perfect Game Class of 鈥�23 rankings list and the scouting service likens his talents to former Philadelphia Phillie Chase Utley.
