Top 10 New York HS baseball players in Class of 2023
1. Josh Knoth, RHP, Patchogue-Medford
An impressive 14-8 season for Patchogue-Medford was spearheaded by the efforts of the 6-foot-1, 190-pound right hander. Knoth dominated the Raiders鈥� competition as a junior, pitching to a 0.86 ERA, while striking out 93 batters in 40 innings pitched. The shutdown season included just 10 hits from his opposition as he finished with a 5-2 record. Knoth even executed a 20-strikeout perfect game against Riverhead midway through the year. The standout numbers came fresh off a sophomore campaign where Knoth flashed with 75 strikeouts and a 1.45 ERA. With another season on the horizon, the Patchogue-Medford senior will have a chance to remain the top arm in the state.
