Top 10 Utah high school baseball players in Class of 2023
1. Ryder Robinson, SS, American Fork
In a state filled with high-end shortstop prospects, none are better than Robinson. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound rising senior is considered the top player in the state in the Class of 2023 by both PBR and Perfect Game.
The proof is in his game too. As a switch-hitter, Robinson recorded a .436 batting average with 55 runs scored, 27 RBIs and six home runs. This earned Robinson Class 6A first-team all-state honors, his second such honor in his career.
Though he had a number of programs vying for his services, Robinson ultimately made the decision to leave the state and join the baseball team at Texas Christian University. With two state titles already earned in his high school career, Robinson will go for the trifecta during his final season with the American Fork Cavemen.
