Emerson has found himself at the top of Ohio鈥檚 Class of 2023 rankings quite often over the past few years, and he remains there for his senior season. The talented shortstop is committed to Auburn, where he could follow in the footsteps of his older brother, Brady 鈥� a former Ohio State commit currently playing at Belmont Abbey College 鈥� as a collegiate player. No matter what his future holds, Emerson will look to finish his high school career off strong this spring at John Glenn. As a junior, the 6-foot-1 shortstop was an all-state player in both football and baseball, and hit for a .459 average on the diamond.
