1. Easton Shelton, 1B, Bishop Gorman
Shelton shined in his first full year on varsity after playing eight games as a sophomore for the Gaels. With some early experience to lean on, Shelton quickly showcased his impressive 鈥減op鈥 at the plate with 12 home runs and 11 doubles. The 6-foot-5, 230-pound first baseman finished only behind senior Justin Crawford with 50 RBIs, and Shelton鈥檚 .346 average, slots in near the top of returning starters. The UNLV commit will have another chance at becoming the state鈥檚 after pacing the category throughout the past year.聽
