Lombard possesses nearly every tool on the baseball diamond, starring at the plate and in the field since his freshman season at Gulliver Prep. After enjoying a breakout 2021 campaign his sophomore year, the 6-foot-3, 190-pound shortstop repeated his efforts this past season. Behind a .360 batting average and nine home runs, Lombard helped the Raiders to a 17-10 campaign in 2022. With a batting average over .350 the past two seasons, the Vanderbilt commit has cemented himself as one of the top bats in the state and will likely be one of the top high school prospects for the upcoming MLB draft.
