Doucet was ranked as the No. 1 wide receiver in the United States and Louisiana during his high school career. He finished his career with 7,104 all-purpose yards and 79 TDs. He accounted for 30 TDs as a senior and became the first player in 31 years to start every game as a freshman at St. Martinsville. Doucet committed to LSU, where he hauled in 1,943 receiving yards and 20 TDs.聽
