McKnight鈥檚 high school career was challenging as Hurricane Katrina forced his prep career to halt before his junior season. He rushed for 719 yards and 14 TDs and caught 24 passes for 735 yards and 13 TDs when he returned for his senior season.聽
He went on to play for the USC Trojans and is still the to ever play for the program. McKnight entered the 2010 NFL Draft, and the New York Jets drafted him in the fourth round. McKnight passed away in 2016.
