Meet Brookfield athletes Elisa Eddy and Caden Borges

Elisa Eddy
Elisa is a Senior who has just completed her final season as a captain on Brookfield鈥檚 Varsity Volleyball team. She received the All Patriot Division SWC Volleyball award and ALL SWC Academic Award in both her Junior and Senior years. Her love of the sport continues as she plays competitively for a local club team. Outside of volleyball, Elisa is an Athletic Advisory Officer whose main initiative is to reevaluate athlete鈥檚 experiences throughout their seasons to ensure they are enjoying their sports. She has also taken a stand at the state level on the CIAC鈥檚 Student Equity Advisory Board, which works to promote equity and inclusion in student activities statewide.

Caden Borges
Caden, now a senior, 聽fits that rare mold as a 鈥渘atural athlete.鈥� Playing the skill positions in both basketball and football, Caden has been a 3 year starter on the Varsity basketball team and a 2 year starter as quarterback on the Varsity football team. He additionally was the punter and kicker.聽 His value and leadership earned him the title of Captain on both the football and basketball teams. he also acheived All State status for football. An exceptional student, Caden was named 2022 All SWC Academic for basketball.
