Only behind fellow Georgia native Trevor Lawrence in the Class of 2018, Fields became a star at Harrison racking up 4,187 passing yards, 41 passing touchdowns, 2,096 rushing yards and 28 rushing touchdowns as the team鈥檚 starter for two seasons. The standout prep career led to an opening season at Georgia before he transferred to Ohio State the following year. With the Buckeyes, Fields would go on to lead the squad to back-to-back Big Ten Championships in 2019 and 2020 and a College Football Playoff National Championship appearance against Alabama. His Heisman candidacy in his final collegiate season would parlay to a first–round selection in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears.
