As a high school junior, the 6-foot-2, 215-pound QB threw for 4,834 yards and 54 touchdowns. In four years, he totaled 13,902 yards with 145 touchdowns with just 33 interceptions.Â
Ultimately, Berlin wouldn’t live up to his high school hype. He started out his college career with the Florida Gators and later transferred to the Miami Hurricanes. He went undrafted in the 2005 NFL Draft and so he was signed by the Miami Dolphins as a free agent. He had brief stints with some teams over four years and was out of the league for good at 28 years old.Â
