2. Chris Chelios, D (1981-83)
Chelios recorded 97 points (22 goals and 75 assists) as a Badger. He is currently one of two former Badgers in the Hockey Hall of Fame. The other is former head men鈥檚 hockey coach Bob 鈥淏adger鈥� Johnson.
Chelios was also inducted into the UW Hockey Hall of Fame in 2011.聽
Mar 5, 1983: The longest game in history sent the Badgers to the WCHA title game. Wisconsin beat North Dakota 6-5 in 3 OTs. Chris Chelios and Paul Houck scored the tying and winning goals. The game, played in Grand Forks, took 81 minutes 28 seconds to play.
