The Russian goal scorer has impressed during his time in the Kontinental Hockey League in Russia and may stake his claim as the best winger in the upcoming draft. With a skillset that few can match, Michkov posted 16 points in seven games at the 2021 U18 World Junior Championship as just a 16-year-old. He comes in as arguably the top scorer, aside from Bedard, in the class. With Russia鈥檚 non-involvement in the world juniors this year due to their ban, Michkov was unable to showcase his progression like others around him in the rankings. He currently all under-19 skaters in the KHL in goals and points per game.
