Spring-Ford girls basketball finds success at Nike Tournament of Champions
ROYERSFORD, Pa. — If you look at the results, you can see that the Spring-Ford Senior High School basketball team’s trip to Arizona to participate in the Nike Tournament of Champions was a success! We value the opportunity to participate in tournaments that elevate the strength of our schedule and prepare us for the playoffs. But there is more to it than just the statistics. Although the wins are essential to the team as we work towards our goals, the life experience our players gain is equally or even more important. These trips allow us to bond and build trust with each other. Our team has goals that require endurance, perseverance, and teamwork, which is impossible if the team is not cohesive and cannot trust one another.
