The most recent entry on this list, Smith-Njigba burst onto the national scene with his Rose Bowl performance against the University of Utah. With Ohio State鈥檚 top two wideouts opting out of the game, the Buckeyes needed every bit of Smith-Njigba鈥檚 contributions to come out with a 48-45 victory.
Smith-Njigba recorded 15 catches for 347 receiving yards and three touchdowns. His 347 receiving yards set a Rose Bowl record and an overall bowl record for the star wideout. The 347 yards are also the fifth-most in a single game in FBS football history.
