Rio Rico golfers Noah and Nicolas Castro invited to Junior Golf Invitational
RIO RICO, Ariz. — Noah and Nicolas Castro have been invited to participate in the 2023 Junior Golf Invitational. This is an exclusive competition between elite high school-aged players from throughout the United States. This event will offer them the opportunity to play in a top-level international competition on some of the most historical and beautiful courses in the world.
Noah and Nicolas joined the Rio Rico High School Golf team in 2022. “Both boys displayed聽great leadership this season and helped lead the team to an 11-2 record and 2nd place finish in Division II and Section II.聽 Noah had a spectacular season for the Hawks this year qualifying for the AIA Division II State Championship and placing 36th overall. Nicolas also had a great season for the Hawks, placing 39th in Division II as a freshman,” said Rio Rico Athletic Director Chris Laughland.
