Martin County girls basketball team starts season strong
STUART, Fla. — At the time of this writing, the Martin County Girls Varsity Basketball team was sitting pretty on a 5-0 record for the 2022/2023 season. It鈥檚 easy to get excited about what they鈥檙e bringing us fans this year!
On November 30th, the Lady Tigers played a remarkable game against Centennial High School. Playing at home, the Lady Tigers dominated the game with a 53-44 win over the Eagles. Senior, Amanda Gumina, was selected as Martin County鈥檚 Player of the Game in a four-quarter match that highlighted the impressive skills she brings to the court.
The varsity roster this year includes Anna Witt (Senior), Bria Brinkley (Sophomore), Katelyn Tanis (Freshman), Laniyah Smalls (Junior), Amanda Gumina (Senior), Allison Rekowski (Junior), Collins Toth (Sophomore), BeccaWitt (Freshman), Kaylee Gumina (Senior), Denasia Hilaire (Senior), and Elena Leintine (Junior).
