The addition of All will add to what will be a much improved offensive unit for the Hawkeyes in 2023. During his four seasons at Michigan, the 6-foot-5, 255–pound tight end secured 54 catches for 565 yards throughout his 35 games with the team. His shared connection with McNamara, who combined to play three seasons with All, helped in the move of the now-former Wolverines鈥 receiving threat.聽

Not everything/everyone are what they seem and I learned that from my time here at Michigan. Sometimes you have to let go and do what鈥檚 best for your family.鈥

This past season, All appeared in the team鈥檚 first three games, recording just three catches for 36 yards before missing the remainder of the season due to injury. The senior tight end was said to have a 鈥鈥 at the which specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery back in October.聽
Coming out of Fairfield (Ohio) High School as a four-star prospect, All ranked as the No. 13 tight end in the nation in his Class of 2019. With 2022 starting tight end Sam LaPorta likely headed to the NFL following the wrap up of this season, the Hawkeyes were in need of another playmaker at the position alongside Luke Lachey. The sophomore tight end finished with 362 yards and three touchdowns during Iowa鈥檚 7-5 campaign.
With his entrance to the program coming alongside McNamara, All should have an added bonus over other the team鈥檚 current tight ends and wide receivers early on. The Hawkeyes are hoping the connection can lead to some quick success, as both McNamara and All look to return back to their previous form.
