‘Last Chance U: Basketball’: Where are Season 2’s stars now?
Dezmond Washington, University of Minnesota-Crookston
An All SCC-North second team selection during the 2021-22 season, Washington played in 29 games with 28 starts for the Huskies. During that campaign, Washington averaged 10.1 points, four rebounds and 1.5 assists, shooting 52.8% from the field and 35.4% from beyond the arc.
This success allowed Washington to join the program at NCAA Division II University of Minnesota-Crookston where he has excelled so far. Playing in nine of the team’s 11 games, Washington is averaging 9.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 0.8 assists while shooting 43.2% from the field and 30.8% from 3. However, Washington’s individual success hasn’t translated to team success as the Golden Eagles are just 1-10 so far on the season.
Welcome to Golden Eagle Nation ‼️
We are excited to announce the signing of Dezmond Washington (G/F, 6-6 200, Los Angeles, Calif./East Los Angeles College) to continue his career with 🏀🦅
