VAUGHAN, Ontario (BVM) 鈥 Baseball has always been a mainstay for Myles Naylor. He grew up watching his older brothers, Josh and Bo, make their big-league dreams come true. Now he鈥檚 forging his own in the sport he loves.听听
鈥淚 go to them for everything,鈥 Myles told the . 鈥淭hey can give me any advice I need to hear. They鈥檝e been through more than I have.鈥澨

Myles seems primed to be the next star in the family. And he isn鈥檛 letting any sort of pressure get to him. He still uses the advice his brothers gave him when he was growing up.听
鈥淭he biggest thing they told me was to have confidence,鈥 Myles told CBN. 鈥淭hey鈥檙e both very good players, and I take stuff from their game. [They鈥檝e told me] respect the game, respect your coaches and go out there and play your hardest.鈥
Myles held that advice close to his heart and continued his baseball journey with the Ontario Blue Jays. He鈥檚 faced some of the top baseball talent Canada has to offer by being a part of the Premier Baseball League of Ontario (PBLO).
He鈥檇 also receive the opportunity to play against some of the world鈥檚 best up-and-coming talent with the Canadian U-18/Junior National Team. He鈥檇 make the most of his opportunity with the squad in the U-18 World Baseball Cup, .471 and recording an OPS of 1.331.听

鈥淭hey鈥檝e given me the best experience I鈥檝e had on the field,鈥 Myles told CBN. 鈥淚 couldn’t be more grateful for them.鈥
Playing against some of the world’s premier baseball players can help a player like Myles develop. His growth has led him to become the top player in Canada, according to (PBR). The elite ranking has allowed him to receive offers from college baseball programs in the United States, such as Texas Tech.听
Finally home to make it official with the family!!

鈥淪ince Josh was committed there, we know what they鈥檙e about,鈥 Myles told CBN. 鈥淭hey do a great job of developing their players, and they have a good education system. Playing in the [Big 12] Conference is a really good thing for me. It鈥檚 the best place for me and the best place to bring my game up to the next level.鈥
Myles has shown that he has more than enough potential to excel at the collegiate level and possibly in MLB. However, as a high school player, the pressure of being a potential draft pick can be tough to overcome. He isn’t letting the pressure get to him, though.听
鈥淭ry to stay level-headed and don’t let the ratings get to your head because, at the end of the day, anything can happen,鈥 Myles told CBN. 鈥淪tay confident in myself and believe in my abilities.鈥
Myles has done and will continue to improve himself when it comes to his play on the diamond. The competition at the next level will be demanding. But a player like him is ready for any expectations that may lie ahead.听
鈥淚 try to make myself my own player at the end of the day,鈥 Myles told CBN.听
